Belagavi : Two crore rupees in cash was seized at Hirebagewadi toll gate, which was being transported in a private bus without proper documents. The illegal money was found when the private bus (KA 70 1459) which was going from Mumbai to Bangalore was checked by a team of FST and police officials at around 3.30 am. District Collector Nitesh Patila said that the case will be registered and information will be given to the officials of the Income Tax Department as per the P Act.
Immediately after hearing the news, District Collector Nitesh Patil visited and reviewed the case.
A case has been registered at Hirebagewadi police station and investigation is underway
will be continued. One person has been arrested in connection with the case.

Shambhulingappa, Rajendra Morabada of the team participated in the operation.
